THE RORTY PROJECT

The Rorty Project is the Institute of First Principles’ flagship program for research and career development. We firmly believe these two areas are closely intertwined and essential for personal and professional growth. As such, we provide project participants with comprehensive support, encouraging exploration of interdisciplinary fields, acquisition of new skills and knowledge, and expansion of professional networks.
At the Institute, we offer support and guidance to project participants at all stages of their personal and professional pursuits. We understand that building capacity involves developing technical skills, as well as personal growth. To this end, we provide mentorship and coaching programs that are interactive and engaging, allowing members to learn from their peers and experts in the field.
Moreover, we encourage members to share their research and receive feedback from their colleagues, promoting a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Through these activities, we aim to help our members effectively develop their academic and technical leadership, communication skills, teamwork abilities, and time management skills.
Through partnerships with local businesses, national corporations, and governments, the Institute implements a number of academic and professional development initiatives. We design and oversee various scholarship programs that enable project participants to pursue research and career development in multiple forms, such as attending conferences, taking courses, participating in internships, or engaging in independent studies.
The Rorty Project is designed to be a comprehensive and flexible program that meets the unique needs and goals of each participant. We provide personalized support and guidance, helping our members to navigate the academic and professional worlds effectively. By investing in our members’ development, we believe we can empower them to positively impact their respective fields and become leaders in their communities.
